but your art (as of right now) is just words. 

and some of the most expensive art is just squares, lines, and reprints of objects.  the point isn't the medium, but what is says and represents.

to me, art is more than a physical object.  let's be honest, when we go to a museum and see art, we want to know "how much is it worth."  we are obsessed with value.  so i am using game theory, fomo, and art to create value for you and me.  most people don't buy art because it is brilliant, they buy it because other people are.  or someone tells them to.  who gets to decide what to buy? in the old days, a series of rich people did.  but now, anyone can decide what is art and what is worth something.  that is where you come in.  

how do i factor into this? 

because i want to be rich.  and i want you to be rich.  together, we can create hype, rarity, and scarcity.  

how are you going to do that?

each edition of a phrase sells for twice the previous one. if someone buys #11 for $1,024, that means #12 is $2,048.  if you own a piece that is #1 through #11, your art is worth a maximum of $2,047 on the aftermarket.  since the editions are severely limited, aftermarket sales will flourish and you will make money.  as soon as none are available and someone buys #12 from me, the art doubles again.  when to sell? that is up to you...

but your art is so cheap...

yes it is right now, if you get in early. buy an original piece of art for cheap and watch it go to the moon as the hype grows.  this is where you come in again.  i need you to hype my art. someone will eventually buy one for over $500,000 and then yours will be worth at least $499,999.  

that seems like bullshit.

imagine buying an original warhol or a banksy for $500,000.  it would be considered cheap nowadays.  so you can get in on the ground floor.  create hype. 

what do you mean by original? i see there are 20 editions of each. 

that means each painting is unique.  i made it myself.  no mass printing.  so while the phrases might be the same for all 20 editions, each will vary slightly as i have created it by hand. 

so you're just going to create new phrases?

series one will contain 8 phrases dropped at different times.  after series one, i have bigger and more ostentatious projects planned to cement myself into pop culture.  installations, living art, and more. what i have planned will make the news and set social media afire.  but first we need to work together to create hype.  make me a household name. 

how can i do that? 

buy the art. tell your friends.  use the hashtag #artthatdoubles or #bishopthe8th.  tell everyone that they will be rich like us.

how are these shipped?

each edition up to #14 will be shipped by standard mail in packaging that will be art itself.  so keep it in good shape because it will be worth something.  if you buy #15 to #20, yours will be hand delivered. 

can i buy a lot of these?

you are only allowed to buy one of each phrase. to give everyone a chance and create more art.
